Ben Yankson started Watertech in 1980 and was Managing Director until March, 2016 when he retired and became Technical Advisor. He is also Chairman of the Board.
He is a Civil / Sanitary Engineer with over 50years national and international professional experience in the planning, design, construction supervision, management and operation of water supply, sewerage and drainage schemes.
He has worked as local Project Director in joint venture projects with Mott MacDonald International of U.K., Posch & Partners of Austria, IGIP Consulting Engineers of Germany, Lahmeyer International of Germany and Norconsult of Norway on significant projects like the Accra Roads and Drainage Master Plan, Water Sector Rehabilitation Project, Three Districts Water Supply Project, Accra Sewerage Rehabilitation Project and Dam Safety Rehabilitation Project.
Ben set up and headed the Water Division of the Architectural and Engineering Services Corporation (AESC), now AESL after moving from Ghana Water and Sewerage Corporation in 1975.
Ben holds a BSc. degree in Civil Engineering from University of Manchester, UK and a DIC in Public Health Engineering from London’s Imperial College of Science and Technology, UK.

Stanley Yankson joined Watertech Ltd. Board in 2014 as Executive Director. He is also the Acting Managing Director. He has also held various roles within the company including, Senior Engineer, Project Manager and Engineering Consultant.
Stanley Yankson is a Civil and Environmental engineer with over 13 years’ experience gained in the UK and Ghana, focusing on water, sanitation and drainage projects. He has worked in various capacities on a number of significant water assignments in Ghana including, Accra Sewerage Improvement Project, Accra Storm Drainage Improvement Project, Dam Safety Assessment & Rehabilitation Project, Community Infrastructure Upgrading Project and Storm Drainage Works at Mallam and Tetteh Quarshie interchange on the N1 Road. In the UK, he worked with Mott McDonald’s highway division as an engineer on pollution control study for the M3 motorway and worked with O’Rourke Construction Group as a Site Engineer during the construction of the 48 floors Citigroup skyscraper at London’s Canary Wharf.
Stanley holds a BEng (Hons) degree in Civil Engineering from the University of East London, UK and an MSc and DIC in Environmental Engineering from Imperial College School of Science and Technology, UK.

Dinah AmpomahDeputy MD Administration

BSc Business Studies.
Mrs. Ampomah joined Watertech Ltd Board in 2014 as company secretary. She is the Deputy MD, Finance and Administration in charge of the day to day administration and operations of the company. Prior to joining Watertech Ltd., Mrs. Ampomah worked as a Partnership Manager on the ERDF/LDA Knowledge Connect Programme. She also worked as a Senior Consultant in the UK assisting businesses develop models, refined operational structures and supported businesses to raise capital and improve. She worked in various administrative and human resources and operational management roles in the UK.
Mrs. Dinah Ampomah is a management consultant with extensive strategic and organizational development experience. She has extensive experience working with start-ups/SMEs as well as large companies in a variety of roles including administration, operations, service development and general management. Dinah specializes in strategic management, employee relations and organizational development.
She has a BA (Hons) in Business Studies from East London Business School, an MBA from Middlesex Business School (UK) and is a trained PRINCE 2 Project Manager.

Rev. E.N.D. Amoo

Rev. Eric Nii Dodoo Amoo joined Watertech Ltd.’s Board of Directors in 2014 as an Executive Director. He is currently a Senior Engineer and has held a number of roles within the company since he joined in 1999. Prior to joining Watertech Ltd, Rev. Dodoo-Amoo worked with AESC (now AESL) for 12 years beginning as an Engineer and rose to become the Director of the Water Engineering Department of the Corporation. He also worked in the USA for URS Company, a Civil Engineering Consulting Firm and Brown & Caldwell Consulting Engineers, a Water Engineering Consulting Firm both in Seattle, Washington.
Rev. Eric Nii Dodoo Amoo is a Civil Engineer with vast experience and expertise in the design of sewerage systems, water supply systems and drainage systems. He has prepared many project proposals, carried out feasibility studies and acted as project engineer and/or project manager on several township water supply projects employing both groundwater and surface water. He was the Deputy Project Manager for the Rehabilitation and Expansion of the Kumasi Water Supply System. He also held the position of Deputy Project Manager for the Accra Sewerage Improvement Project Phases 1 and 2. He was the Drainage Engineer for the Accra Drains Improvement Project of 2002 to 2004.
Rev Eric Nii Dodoo Amoo holds BSc degrees in Civil Engineering and Industrial Science Engineering and a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Washington, Seattle, USA.

Peter SackeyDirector Engineering

Mr. Peter Osamau Sackey joined Watertech Ltd Board in 2014 as a Non-Executive Director. He has been an Associate Consultant of the company since 2000. Prior to joining Watertech Ltd, he established and became the first CEO of the Community Water and Sanitation Agency 1998 -2000 when he retired. Before then, he worked with the then Ghana Water and Sewerage Corporation [GWSC] 1967 -1998 where he rose to the rank of Deputy Managing Director.
Mr. Peter Sackey, is a Water Supply and Sanitation Engineer and has extensive experience in delivering water related solutions across the country and abroad. He holds BSc Degree in Civil Engineering and Postgraduate Diploma in Sanitary Engineering from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology [KNUST].

Ebenezer Akowuah
Mr Akowuah joined the Board of Watertech Ltd in 2014 as a Non - Executive Director.
He is a Civil / Sanitary Engineer with vast national and international experience in the planning, design, construction, operation, and maintenance of municipal infrastructural facilities, including water supply and sewerage systems, markets, clinics, and educational facilities.
He also has extensive experience in the management of infrastructural projects, including the management of tendering procedures for the selection of consultants and contractors, management of consultancy and construction contracts, technical and financial reporting to national and international agencies, and co - ordination of the roles of international agencies, national and local government authorities, consultants, contractors, and beneficiary communities.
Mr Akowuah has worked with several reputable national and international organisations, including Ghana Water Company Ltd ( GWCL), Architectural and Engineering Services Ltd (AESL), Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development, Ministry of Education, Liberia Water and Sewer Corporation, United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), and the Commonwealth Secretariat.
He holds a BSc Degree in Civil Engineering from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), and a Diploma in Sanitary Engineering from the Institute for Hydraulics and Environmental Studies (IHE), Delft, The Netherlands.
